On Wednesday morning, StarWars.com officially announced that Star Wars Celebration Anaheim’s date was moved from August 18-21, 2022 to May 26-29, 2022. This will mark the event’s return after a three-year hiatus. Celebration Anaheim was originally scheduled for August of 2020 but was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Star Wars Celebration is a gathering that fans won’t want to miss! The event features upcoming project announcements, celebrity appearances, fan cosplays, exclusive merchandise, and much more! In 2019, celebrity appearances included Hayden Christensen, Ian McDiarmid, Anthony Daniels, Daisy Ridley, Ray Park, and Ashley Eckstein.

Lucasfilm will be automatically transferring tickets over for current ticket holders. If fans choose to keep their tickets, they will receive an updated confirmation in the “upcoming months” with “no further action required on their part.”

However, if fans would like to request a refund for the event, they can visit StarWarsCelebration.com for more details. In addition, all ticket holders will be contacted via email with refund request instructions. Lucasfilm is requiring that all ticket refund requests be made before June 11, 2021.

In the past, Lucasfilm has live-streamed the event on the official Star Wars YouTube channel and I’m sure that they will do the same next year. Below is a highlight reel from Celebration Chicago 2019.
