The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 and E3 2021 have excellent news for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite players, according to a new rumor. In short, it appears that not just The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 but also multiple other Zelda games will be present at E3 2021 next month. Industry insider Jeff Grubb stated that he is 51 percent certain that Breath of the Wild 2 will be announced at Nintendo’s E3 2021 Direct, and that if it isn’t, it will be announced within a few weeks of E3 2021.

Nintendo’s E3 2021 plans should be revealed later this week, according to Grubb. Furthermore, he anticipates Nintendo bringing more Zelda news than only Breath of the Wild 2, as well as a slew of Metroid announcements.

Unfortunately, Grubb didn’t say what additional Zelda titles he expects to see, which isn’t surprising given that the series is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, and there have been speculations and claims that Nintendo is planning to re-release a few earlier Zelda games on Switch and Switch Lite, similar to how it did with Skyward Sword.

In terms of Breath of the Wild 2, we haven’t seen it since Nintendo announced it at E3 2019. In fact, Nintendo hasn’t disclosed anything about the game other than that it’s in the works.

In the meantime, take everything here with a grain of salt until we’ve received some official news. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 is currently in development for the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, and possibly the Nintendo Switch Pro.
