Mountain goats are something you’ll definitely want to keep an eye out for. According to the official Minecraft website, goats can send you crashing down the mountain if you get on their bad side, so keep away from them as much as possible unless you want to be sent crashing hundreds of meters. Thankfully, the brand new spyglass equipment that comes with the new DLC will allow you to identify those pesky animals from afar.

Caves and Cliffs: Part One also features the glow squid mob, which was previously exclusive to Minecraft Earth. If you haven’t heard, Minecraft Earth will be shutting down later this month, in June 2021, due to the fact that COVID-19 has made maintaining the site extremely onerous for developer Mojang. It’s good to see that when Minecraft Earth is taken down, some of the game’s exclusive content won’t be gone forever.

A slew of new blocks will be available in the Caves and Cliffs: Part One update for Minecraft next week. While some types of blocks will appear rather frequently in the open world, others will be more difficult to locate. If you want to start playing with all of these new sorts of blocks right away, simply switch to Creative mode. The copper block is a major new addition that has been eagerly anticipated by the Minecraft community and will undoubtedly be difficult to locate.

Part Two of the Caves and Cliffs update will arrive later this year around Holiday 2021.
