The highly anticipated Nintendo Switch Pro might be arriving sooner than we thought.

Pre-orders for the upcoming Nintendo Switch Pro will go live later this week on June 4, according to CentroLeaks, a Twitter account dedicated to gaming-related leaks. This is based on the Twitter account’s ability to verify a screenshot from a “big retailer’s internal system,” which supposedly indicates the next console’s scheduled pre-order date of Friday, June 4.

Also worth noting that this specific listing is a non-US listing from an US retailer.

That should give you a hint what retailer it is lol

This isn’t the first time a retailer has mentioned the Nintendo Switch Pro. Amazon Mexico unintentionally posted a listing for the Nintendo Switch Pro earlier this week. The shop quickly removed the listing once it went up, but not before numerous internet explorers noticed it.

This year’s virtual E3 activities will be held from June 12 to 15, giving these leaks less than two weeks to prove accurate.

XboxEra.com co-founder Nick Baker expects the beefed-up Switch system will make a debut at the next Nintendo Direct event on Thursday, June 3:

“At the moment, I’m told the Super Nintendo Switch (that’s what I want the name to be) Direct/Mini Direct/Announcement is scheduled for Thursday.”

However, Baker added that the new console’s announcement has been delayed before and “could be again.”

According to Bloomberg, Nintendo is starting production of the Switch Pro in July, with a consumer release scheduled for September or October this year.
